THINGS ARE CHANGING
by Pam Clark
The true active Church (global) that we know today is going to face some changes. The ones who are working to maintain it and increase it for His Glory are doing well.
But not all churches are doing that! Some have slacked off, some have gotten into wrong doctrine and some are just dying off. Some have gone on to Glory which is to their benefit, but some have just gotten lazy and complacent and let “others” just do it for them. They will toss in some money gifts, but pretty much let all the others do the work!
That is not good enough, in God’s Eyes! He wants a vibrant Church and Bride! Some should be pressing in for their healings. Some should be changing the atmosphere of their neighborhoods.
Some have felt overwhelmed by the theology, and some are not really relating and being used for their ministry giftings that we all have! Some have not even heard about that!
Some have never gotten engaged because they have not seen the on ramp for it. No one can do everything, but some can do something! Even if it is helping out in the yard or parking lot, helping with church dinners, and teaching or getting familiar with others in a study class!
Some have a drive for ministry and need to share about that with others of like mind. They may go out in the streets or malls and witness. Some share at church dinners or picnics. Some write like I do, and others are willng to teach classes. But we all start small and grow as we can. We need to get balanced in what we do and keep a good heart and not an entitled attitude.
If we are around people that have an attitude, we need to work at resisting it! Much grace and inspiration should be IN the Church to help! None are ever so perfect that they don’t need the Holy Spirit in their lives to convict, receive, and learn. Through fellowship, we learn to give in reasonable ways.
And getting people’s prayers are so valuable! How often when I have seen someone struggling or even handicapped, that I have prayed for them during the week! Their praises seen and heard often inspire others to give thanks to God and find a way to even bless them, with God’s favor coming to respond!
But America has changed in a lot of ways, and some if not many of us have gotten complacent. We sometimes feel “squeezed out” and we need to look for another path to express our genuine yet humble faith!
Some have the strong energy to go for more, and some, well really MANY NEED to be praying for others! Any good deed or spiritual move comes from people praying! I was just sharing with a friend the other day how faith bumper stickers have made a big difference to me at times! In my earliest faith days they were holding my old car together, but you can sow as well as receive through them!
America needs a revival and God is going to remind us in stronger ways that we very much DO NEED THIS! If we take Him for granted, He CAN pull back and remind us of how it used to be before without Him and we will get inspired through that!
But He loves His faithful ones and we need to find ways to do and be that so that we are not just pleasing men, but God! We need to give Him the first thoughts and first fruits of our lives. He wants a relationship with us, He came and died for that!
All of us are world changers if we want to be! If we as a nation turn our backs on Him, then WE are the ones who have to fix that! When the enemy has too much time on its hands to plot evil, it means we are not doing and praying enough and that can lead to God’s dealing with HIS saints!
We are not to be ignorant or arrogant or rowdy, but using what He has taught us and our ministry gifts to change things! How many places have you seen witnesses for the faith? We can get back to that again! More joy will fill the air and the streets and knowing that someone is praying for you can really do a lot! Our leaders need our prayers!
It goes beyond social median to God visiting us again! It’s personal, powerful and faith producing and the prayers warriors can take that good will and run with it!
If we don’t get activated again, we wil lose a lot of ground, but we don’t have to. We don’t have to give an accounting for every good deed we do, it needs to just be a lifestyle! It makes way for the River of God’s Holy Spirit to come flowing through!
We need to pray for those over us and under us and those seemingly not seen. He cares about us all. Let’s do our part to show the world, because some have witnessed to us! He will show His pleasure when we DO this!
